NWN kick

I've been on a toolset area kick! I've been creating an area (or set of areas now) for a friend who is creating a module for the game Neverwinter Nights. I knew this was gonna be tough and time consuming but I had no idea. It just keeps going and going.

My areas are desert. I have a desert oasis, where a band of gypsy's have made a temperary home and a desert ruin. Sounds simple enough right? That is until I add the inside of the main gypsy tent and the people and conversations/quests/stores inside, and the inside of the ruined spire with encounters/props/dead bodies/lich... you get the idea. There's a lot that goes into creating a world.. even just a few areas of it. Gotta give a thought to the great maker!

Missing my husband

He went on a trip to Wa for a ms confrence for work. 4 days, gone for 4 days! This is day 3 and I can hardly stand it. Sleeping feels unnatural without him there beside me and I can't seem to fall asleep at a normal hour. I just toss and turn. I expect to see him walk through the door any minute, home from work or not. I hope he knows how much I love and miss him and how it's not the same without him.
